Thursday - Welcome Reception . Immediately following Critical Keynote Speaker. FREE . . .with a cash bar.

Following the keynote address, all conference guests are invited to this casual reception at the 21c Museum located at 700 West Main Street, in historic downtown Louisville. Shuttle bus service will be available to this event. If you plan to attend, please note this on the Registration form.

Friday

Creative Writers Luncheon .
12:15-1:15pm Participants in the Creative Writing sections (and their guests) are invited to lunch at the University Club . The cost is $19 per person. This price includes, salad, entree, rolls, coffee-tea, dessert and gratuity

Conference Dinner . The dinner will be held at the Brown Hotel. There will be a reception with a cash bar from 6:30-7:30 pm (all participants welcome). Dinner will be served at 8:00 pm. The cost of the dinner is $41 per person. You must reserve in advance.

About the Executive Chef, The Brown Hotel
Laurent Géroli

Géroli was born and raised in Montreal, but his culinary career has taken him all over America and the Caribbean. He received his first taste of professional cooking when he was courted to work in his uncle's catering business while still in high school. Shortly after, Géroli accepted a job at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel in Montreal. With the appreciation for his talent growing in the restaurant world, his career allowed him to travel and work on sandy shores at various Club Med locations in the Caribbean and Mexico. Then luxury hotel giant Ritz-Carlton took notice of the young chef. He was hired to work as a banquet and restaurant chef in Ritz-Carlton hotels from St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, to Phoenix, Ariz. to Montreal. Most recently, Géroli was executive chef at Casa Marina Resort & Beach Club in Key West, Florida.

Géroli has promised us a splendid meal.

Saturday

Box Lunch . Food service is limited on campus on Saturday . We highly recommend the box lunch.
You may order a Box Lunch which can be picked up at 12 noon in Room 300, Bingham Humanities Building.
The cost is $8.00. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form . Drinks are provided.
