One of Louisville’s finest hotels, The Brown Hotel, has agreed to offer a special rate to our attendees. When contacting the hotel (888-888-5252 or 502-583-1234) please mention the “Louisville Conference on Literature and Culture since 1900" block.” The hotel provides airport shuttle service; the Conference will provide shuttle service between the hotel and campus.

The Brown guest room rates:

Single Occupancy		$ 115.00
Double Occupancy		$ 125.00
Self Parking per day		$ 20.00
Valet Parking per day		$ 23.00

These rates are subject to the appropriate state, local and any occupancy taxes in effect at the time of the Group’s meeting. These taxes are currently 15.01 % percent per room night occupied.

Cut-Off Date and Room Reservation Procedure:
The “cut-off date” is January 30, 2012.

After this date, reservations will be accepted on a space availability basis and the group rate can not be guaranteed. A deposit or guarantee of one night’s room and tax is required for all reservations. Individuals who cancel within 48 hours prior to the arrival date will be charged for the first nights room and tax. Any individual that checks out early will be charged a $50.00 fee for early departures. Check-in time is 4:00 pm on the day of arrival and check-out time is 11:00 am on the day of departure.
